The Whigs In Town

Happy Late-start!

Today in class, students were introduced to our nations first Whig President; William Henry Harrison.

After discussing the Presidency of Martin Van Ruin (Van Buren), we dove headfirst into the restructured policies of the Democrats and Whigs of the 1840 election.

Sadly enough, Harrison only lasted 32 days as President before his Vice President John Tyler took the rains becoming the USA's 10th President.

3 Presidents in one day!!! Man we covered some years!
